Hidden North Productions came about after a meeting in Winnipeg, Canada in 2005 of several people involved in Media Production and Christian ministry –
  • Joel Molin (sadly no longer with us), former director of northern Connections ministry in the Pas, Canada.
  • Raymond McCullough, director of Precious Oil Productions, based in Co. Down, Northern Ireland.
  • Dave Christmas, formerly involved in Prison Ministry in Winnipeg, Canada.
  • Colby Hall, cameraman and producer from Homer, Alaska, USA.
The name, Hidden North, came from the two words being the same in Hebrew (Ziphon, ziphon) and the fact that many of these stories from the north have been hidden for so long.
